Payments - Data Processing and Visualization (Excel)
My customer wanted to understand which transactions (payments) amounts from which payment methods bring more income to the company.
I analyzed the data to provide different information (indicators) on each transaction amount: the percentage of successful transactions among all transactions, the number of attempts, the number of successful payments, the income.
Data processing and visualization understand that companies should focus on payments in the range of 1 to 5 thousand. USD, as they bring greater revenue and have a stable indicator of transaction success. And it also made it clear that small transactions (from $50 to $200), despite their high indicators in the number of trials and successful transactions, don’t bring sufficient revenue.
The attachment presents an example of the processing and visualization of raw data for one method (bank cards). All figures have been changed in relation to data protection.
