Development of a portal for the European market, based on WordPress.
Objectives:
1) create a unique expensive yet simple and attractive design;
2) to write clean modern optimized code from fast loading as well as from seo-optimization;
3) integrate the layout on the WordPress base with a user-friendly intuitive admin area;
4) segment elements via cpt, for ease of use;
5) provide video instructions
Solution:
1) was made an audit of the leading competitors, studied the architecture of sites, studied the strengths and weaknesses of competitors, a tremendous amount of work on the design together with the customer, who was directly involved in the design, made a lot of edits, got 4 different versions of the site, thanks to which we got the advantage of the presentation of information and usability.
2) we used a modern approach based on gulp, pug, sass, js, and other package managers from gulp. This allowed us to create clean, well-optimized code with greedy CSS, JS, with good image and output optimization in a modern format. As a result, we got a high speed of the site then paired with a thoughtful design gives high usability indicators.
3) was created a clean theme, without unnecessary code, without any builders. When landing themes we used ACF + Gutenberg blocks, were created and divided into semantic segments cpt. As a result, we got a simple and intuitive obmink interface in which it is easy and simple to understand even a new employee.
4) a clear and simple video instruction on how to use the admin panel was created, thanks to which it is possible to train a new employee without spending a lot of time on it.
