SHELTER — Psychological Support and Resilience Development Platform
Role: Full-Stack Developer / Architect

About the Project
Shelter is a comprehensive, gamified web application designed to provide deep psychological self-care. The platform helps users track their mental health, manage stress, panic attacks, and burnout through personalized practices and interactive tools. The project is designed with a focus on a calming, premium UI/UX and high performance.
Key Features
Deep Analytics & Dashboard: Daily mood tracker, resilience level monitoring, and dynamics visualization using interactive charts (Recharts).
Progress Gamification (Resilience Garden): Completing daily quests and psychological tasks converts into points, allowing the user to "grow" a virtual tree. The system tracks streaks and rewards consistency.
Smart Media Library (Soundscapes & Materials): A library of articles, videos, and audio practices. Content and soundscapes (white, pink, and brown noise) automatically adapt and are sorted based on the user's current emotional state.
Interactive Chat Simulators: Real-conversation simulations for practicing complex life situations (imposter syndrome, anxiety, burnout).
Emergency Support (SOS Button): Instant help feature for panic attacks, activating a "box breathing" interface for rapid nervous system stabilization.
Reflection Diary & Testing System: Tools for keeping personal notes and taking diagnostic psychological tests.
Multilingual Support (i18n): Full on-the-fly application localization (Ukrainian / English), including the translation of dynamic database content.
Tech Stack
Frontend: React.js, React Router, Tailwind CSS, Recharts (charts), Lucide React, i18next.
Styling & UI: Isolated CSS modules and Tailwind to create a responsive, modern design (Glassmorphism, micro-animations, smooth transitions).
Architecture: Utilization of Clean Architecture (Screaming Architecture) patterns, SOLID, Dependency Injection, strict typing, and Guard Clauses (early return) for code cleanliness and scalability. Separation of business logic and UI.
API & Infrastructure: Custom integration layer with RESTful APIs (asynchronous requests, interceptors, error handling).
Achievements & Technical Solutions
Designed a fully modular frontend architecture, allowing easy application scaling and the addition of new modules (quests, chats, tests) without refactoring the core.
Implemented a complex localization system (react-i18next) that translates not only the static UI but also dynamic data from the database (e.g., quest names and activity history).
Developed a sophisticated UI/UX with smooth animations and sound wave generation (Web Audio API) to create a relaxing atmosphere without overloading the DOM.
Optimized state management and the rendering of heavy charts, achieving maximum interface smoothness.
