I have worked with this company on several websites.There was a growth on all websites.However, we decided to do a experiment: to completely give up the links (because we already had a good link mass) and to focus only on the content.Previously, the work on content was chaotic: all texts were written equally, without structuring, and published with HTML code and CSS styles.When I joined the project, we started two types of work:
1 .Creating a new content.We developed a content plan, selected the keywords for each product, gathered suggestions and written texts, following the right structure, including lists, paragraphs and headlines H1-H3.We also created answers to frequently asked questions (based on suggestions).2ndOptimization of old content.We ordered the already existing content, cleansed the codes and styles, created lists and, if possible, added questions and answers.We started working at the end of January and then stopped the purchase of links.As a result, at the end of March, the number of visitors began to grow, which coincided with the beginning of a more active season on this topic.We continued work on the project, and in the middle of May there was a remarkable growth, despite the fact that this period is usually a small seasonal decline.At this point, we have achieved an increase in the number of visitors only by improving content: from January to June the number of visitors increased from 4700 to 10800.In July, traffic increased almost twice compared to January.This experiment showed that although links are important, without good content they won’t be a profitable investment.
