Product Design I MiniDisc — Future of the Past

A photorealistic 3D visualization of a MiniDisc — an iconic piece of retro audio technology that once promised the future of portable sound. This project focuses on precise material creation in Blender 4.5.1 LTS, including translucent plastics, metallic reflections, iridescent optical disc effects, and subtle surface details such as fingerprints and stickers. The lighting setup was carefully tuned to achieve a clean studio look, with a balance of soft highlights and rim accents to emphasize transparency and reflections.
