Complex migration: Wix → WordPress with a knowledge portal and filtering
What makes this project special?

Migrating from Wix to WordPress is always a challenge, as Wix does not provide the ready database. In this case, the task was complicated by the presence of a dynamic portal with:

search,

filtering by attributes,

information cards.

The client also insisted on using AI tools (for example, 10Web AI Builder) to speed up the work, but with the condition that the final site would be identical to the original.

My approach:

AI stage: Using 10Web AI Builder, I obtained a basic copy of the design and structure of the pages.

Manual refinement: I configured custom post types for the portal, created taxonomies for filtering attributes, and implemented AJAX filtering without page reload.

SEO migration: I transferred all meta-information from several years, set up 301 redirects from old URLs to new ones.

Result: The client received a fully functional WordPress site that:

looks exactly like the original,

has a working portal with filtering,

did not lose positions in Google.

Deadline: 1 month.
