Task
Modernization of the product structure and ordering logic on the client's website, which operates on WordPress + WooCommerce.
Implemented changes
Product categories:
Adjusted the category structure for easier navigation.
Added the ability to select packaging (weight) of the product without creating separate products — implemented through variable products.
Packaging options:
Configured product attributes (grams) as options.
Each option has its own stock quantity, which is synchronized with the inventory.
Product cards:
Prepared a card template with dynamic weight selection.
Content filling is done by the client independently.
Delivery:
Configured a mandatory field for the delivery address via Nova Poshta.
In some categories (for example, digital goods or services), the field is automatically hidden.
Website update:
Updated WordPress to the latest version.
Updated all plugins and the template with compatibility checks.
Tested functionality: adding to cart, checkout, mobile adaptation.
