- remove visible parts of the mannequin, create an invisible mannequin effect if necessary, retouch if parts of the mannequin are showing through the clothing
- remove visible unwanted wrinkles - straighten the curvature of the clothing, the item must be symmetrical, the bottom of the clothing must be even, sleeves must be at the same level
