Client / Project: Online flower and gift delivery store in Bucharest (Romania) — Sweet Flower.
Technology stack: OpenCart 3, HTML5/CSS3, JavaScript/jQuery, Bootstrap, Figma (UI/UX).
Main task: Create a modern, delicate, and conversion-oriented online store from scratch — from interface design to full integration with CMS OpenCart 3.
What has been done (Implementation Stages):
1. UI/UX Design (Design Development):
Unique concept: Developed an elegant and light design in a delicate purple-pink palette that perfectly highlights the theme of flowers and celebration.
Responsiveness (Mobile First): Designed user-friendly interfaces for desktops, tablets, and smartphones. Special attention was paid to the mobile version (convenient menu, fast thumb-friendly navigation).
Thoughtful UX: Logically structured catalog with selection by occasions (Occasions: Anniversary, Birthday, Graduation, etc.) and quick access to popular bouquets.
2. HTML/CSS/JS Layout:
Cross-browser, clean, and semantic responsive layout.
High page loading speed and optimization of graphic element sizes.
Interactive elements: convenient filters, hover animations, product gallery, bouquet size selection.
3. Setup and configuration of CMS OpenCart 3:
Custom layout integration: Full integration of the unique layout template into the OpenCart 3 system without losing system performance.
Catalog and filtering (Catalog & Filters): Convenient sidebar filter by occasions, types of flowers (Hydrangeas, Lilies, Roses, Tulips), and price range.
Product Page:
Ability to choose bouquet size (Standard, Deluxe, Premium, Luxury, Royal) with dynamic price change.
Field for personal message/card (Card Message).
Tabs with description and reviews, block with product rating.
Personal account (My Account): Convenient user panel for tracking orders, wishlist, and saved addresses.
Checkout: Simplified and clear order form in 1-2 steps to increase conversion to purchase.
Multilingualism and multi-currency: Implemented language switcher (English / Romanian) and currencies (EUR, RON).
Result:
A fully functional, fast, and aesthetic online store has been created, ready to receive traffic and sales. The client received a convenient OpenCart 3 admin panel for easy management of the catalog, orders, and content.
