When the initial ultrasound confirms the pregnancy, a personal coordinator is assigned to the surrogate. Who is she?
She is a woman who has experience with surrogacy and understands all aspects of the process. Therefore, until the delivery, she will be in touch to help resolve any questions or issues related to the course of the pregnancy.
The coordinator does not interfere in the surrogate's private life, does not control her personal relationships or daily actions. Her task is to provide support and assistance when needed.
The coordinator will help the surrogate mother cope with the doctors' recommendations regarding the pregnancy (for example, changing the diet or adding activity). She will explain the importance of following them and support her in difficult situations.
If the surrogate mother faces very serious difficulties, she can always turn to her coordinator. The agency, within its capabilities, will do everything to provide the necessary assistance.
The personal boundaries of the surrogate remain intact. Because our main goal is to ensure her a comfortable and safe path to giving birth to a healthy child.
