February 24, 2022. The beginning of the war. Everything came to a halt – life and business. But not the people. At some point, Ukrainians gathered and began to do something for their country and the army. The IT sector was the first to provide significant help in collecting donations, spreading awareness about the war worldwide, taking on seemingly impossible projects, and even breaking into and hacking servers, among other things. During that time, the IT industry experienced profound changes. Some chose to continue working with Russia, while others declined and shifted their focus to other countries.

I watched as designers, marketers, and other digital professionals quickly launched projects while sitting in hallways amid bombings. Everything was done voluntarily, and this project was no exception.

The team reached out to me to create illustrations for a charitable foundation in support of the army. At that time, it was the second case involving a charitable foundation where I acted as an illustrator. It took two weeks to create the illustrations, and about the same amount of time for website development and layout. We completed the project in three weeks, considering that everything was done simultaneously.

In this way, with the participation of a large number of people who had never worked together before, there were no disputes or scandals. The work went smoothly, everyone tried to meet deadlines, and they gave their maximum effort.
