We installed n8n on a server running Ubuntu 24.04, switching the default SQLite database to cloud-based PostgreSQL from Supabase. Basic authentication and autostart via systemd/Docker were configured, and documentation for future use was prepared. The solution provides secure storage of workflows and credentials with scalability and backup capabilities.
