Website for fishing tournaments in the Czech Republic

Trout Area CZ — a Czech association that organizes and promotes sport fishing for trout in the Trout Area style. They hold national and international tournaments, support the Czech team at world championships, and actively engage anglers of all levels in competitions and water activities. The website is available in Czech and English, and also has an interface for administrators.
1. Design and Branding
— Developed a complete website design, including a logo, layouts for various devices, and a style guideline.
— User-oriented interface, focusing on ease of navigation and quick access to information about tournaments, rankings, and news.
2. Development on Next.js + Payload CMS
— Used Next.js to create a fast and SEO-optimized website.
— Integrated Payload CMS as a headless CMS for convenient content management, allowing administrators to easily update information about tournaments, news, and other sections of the site.
— Implemented responsive and cross-browser layout, ensuring correct display of the site on various devices and browsers.

— Tournaments: A page listing upcoming and completed tournaments, with the ability to filter by date, location, and status.
— Rankings: A ranking system for participants and teams, with the ability to view results from previous tournaments.
— Reservoirs: An interactive map with information about water bodies where competitions are held.
— Store: An integrated online store selling products branded with Trout Area Czech Republic.
— News and Blog: A publication system for announcements, news, and articles that supports multimedia content.
4. Optimization
— Ensured fast loading of the website through the use of Next.js and resource optimization.
— Conducted SEO optimization to improve the website's visibility in search engines.
— Implemented a multilingual interface, allowing users to choose between Czech and English languages.
