I worked on the website redesign for Charleston Photo Art — a wedding photography and videography studio based in Charleston, USA.
The main goal of the project was not simply to refresh the visual design, but to build a fast, scalable, and SEO-friendly WordPress website without relying on heavy page builders such as Elementor or WPBakery.
The project was built with WordPress, Kadence Theme, and Kadence Blocks Pro, with a strong focus on a mobile-first approach, clean page structure, reusable blocks, and maximum loading speed.
The scope of work included:
* a multi-page website structure
* service pages for different types of photography and videography
* responsive layout for desktop, tablet, and mobile
* reusable blocks: Hero, Gallery, Testimonials, CTA, FAQ, Pricing
* portfolio and gallery sections
* Journal / blog structure with categories
* AJAX filtering of posts by categories and tags
* SEO-friendly pagination for the Journal
* popup inquiry form
* mobile-first UX
* optimized structure without unnecessary JS libraries
* lazy loading and fast image delivery
* technical WordPress / Kadence improvements
A separate focus was placed on the Journal section. It was developed not just as a blog, but as a content system for real wedding stories, wedding guides, venue guides, and SEO-focused content without page cannibalization.
The result is an elegant, lightweight, and scalable website that combines a premium visual presentation, fast performance, clear navigation, full responsiveness, and a smooth user journey toward submitting an inquiry.
