Client: Sierra Blanca, a new luxury wedding dress brand (high quality + mid-price category). The geography of future sales - the USA and Europe.
Task: develop a responsive design for an online wedding dress store initially for 2 collections (40 products with further expansion of the assortment). Create a convenient filter for the catalog. It is important to provide for the inclusion of measurements when placing an order and the availability of a guide for taking measurements.
Process: an analysis of the niche, competitors was conducted, needs and features of the project were identified through briefing. A roadmap for the site was created. The structure of all pages was developed according to the existing tasks. The design of the desktop and mobile versions of all pages was developed. All UI elements were drawn: menu, various states of the cart, wishlist, pop-ups, widgets, hovers. A total of 18 pages were developed: main / catalog / collections / individual collection / mood board (wishlist) / product card / cart / order placement / thank you page / about the brand / blog / news page / contacts / 404 / FAQ / delivery, payment and return conditions / policy and terms / measurement guide.
Result: a modern responsive design for the online store was created, which emphasizes the luxury positioning of the brand while remaining clear and convenient for the user. The thoughtful structure of the catalog allows for easy selection of dresses by collections and silhouettes, while the detailed product card and order placement process take into account the specifics of custom tailoring and the inclusion of individual measurements. A separate guide page helps clients take measurements correctly, simplifying communication and increasing trust in the brand. As a result, the brand received a cohesive design system and a ready foundation for scaling the assortment and further developing the online store in the markets of the USA and Europe.
