Why is AdBlue needed in trucks?

The diesel engines of trucks and buses have practically the same negative impact on the atmosphere with gasoline engines. But ecologists have committed to reducing the number of harmful emissions, including nitrogen oxide (NOx). To solve the problem, manufacturers presented a liquid called AdBlue, also known in the US as Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF).
