What if booking tickets for a trip could be done faster than taking the first sip of coffee? This is the idea we brought to life in a dynamic advertisement for the booking service Rubikon — and we did it entirely using artificial intelligence.
This is not just an ordinary app advertisement. It’s a mini-story built on a friendly debate. The entire project — from characters to the final scene — was created from scratch using generative AI, without real filming, actors, or a film crew.
Why do such videos attract attention?
1. POV / Expectation vs Reality format
One of the most popular formats in Reels and TikTok. The audience instantly recognizes it and subconsciously "gets hooked" — the brain already knows that there will be a contrast and a resolution, so it anticipates a plot twist.
2. Conflict in the first frame
We immediately set the tension: skeptic vs confident. The viewer automatically associates themselves with one of the characters and wants to find out who is right.
3. Relevance of the topic
The phrase "Want to escape somewhere this summer" instantly resonates — it’s something that connects with the audience here and now.
4. Real-time split screen
The visual comparison of two actions simultaneously proves the speed of the service without a single word — the image speaks for itself.
Where and how can this be used in advertising?
— Travel services and booking apps
Perfect for demonstrating the speed and convenience of the service through a lively, emotional story instead of a dry listing of benefits.
— IT products and mobile apps
Any service whose main value is time-saving can use the format "our product is faster than a household action."
— HoReCa and lifestyle brands
The format easily adapts to cafes, food delivery, restaurants — with an emphasis on speed and atmosphere.
— E-commerce and marketplaces
"Order faster than..." — a universal mechanic for demonstrating the simplicity of placing an order.
— Advertising agencies and SMM specialists
A ready viral format for clients in any niche — quickly, cost-effectively, with high engagement potential.
What was done
The project was implemented "turnkey" — from the first idea to the final ready video.
1. Concept development
Several creative concepts were prepared for the Client's choice, each offering its own approach to presenting the brand's key message.
2. Scriptwriting
Based on the chosen concept, a detailed script was developed: scene structure, character dialogues, timing, visual solutions, and the drama of the video.
3. Character generation
Four unique characters were created with consistent images: Max (confident), Artem (skeptic), a waitress, and a barista — with detailed character design sheets to maintain appearance in all scenes.
4. Location generation in Nano Banana
Atmospheric locations were developed: a cozy café with large windows and natural light.
5. Scene animation through Seedance 2.0
Character images were integrated into dynamic scenes: camera fly-throughs, real-time split screens, natural facial expressions, and character interactions.
6. Sound design
Musical accompaniment and sound effects were selected to enhance the excitement, humor, and rhythm of the video.
7. Editing
Final assembly: animated text overlays, split screens, timing of dialogues, branded intro with the logo, and a call to action for the challenge.
