My name is Oleksii Osmak, Ukraine. Experience working as an animator - four years.
I studied chemical engineering at the National Aviation University (2012-2015), at the same time was engaged in the design department at the Kyiv Comic-Con annual festival.
After finishing studying, I took part in the foundation of the Kyiv Visual Fusion Technology holographic theatre, where afterward worked as an animator and visualizer.
After that, I worked for several years on freelance. Including animation for game-development, commercials, animation for LED screens and animation for an interactive children's room implemented through mapping technology.
Worked as a Unity/Maya-animator (2d / 3d) at the local game development company "Neron."
I created short animated cartoons for studio Quarter 95.
I was chosen to participate in the competition program at film-festival "Kinohvylia" with my film "Until the Last Breath," created with the financial support of the music band "Niagara."
Since February 2018, I am working as a Lead Rigger and Lead CutOut-animator at Red Dog Studio (Chervoniy Sobaka Studio), in the context of production of the feature cartoon (90 minutes) "Viktor Robot."
Also participated in smaller studio projects, such as:
"Other Language - Other View" project, created in collaboration with the French embassy.
"Amazing stories from Ukraine" - Creation of intro video for Ukrainian animation compilation for the Annecy festival (France).
Animation for entertainment interviews, combining live shooting and animation.
