Aleksandra Zapotoczna

My name is Aleksandra, a digital and traditional media artist based in Poland I have been involved in illustration, 2D graphics and DTP for 15 years in a wide range – both as a freelancer and working full-time. During this time, I have cooperated with many publishers and creators to create illustrations for their projects. 

The main field in which I feel best is fantasy illustration and illustrating children’s books. I also love drawing, painting and sketching animals using both traditional and digital media. For many years I have worked as an instructor and teacher of graphics, photography and drawing with children and teenagers, which is consistent with my education – a teacher of visual arts. 

Currently, I am at the stage of returning to my roots, in recent years I have been focusing professionally more on branding, photography and marketing, neglecting my passion for drawing and creating illustrations.  Although during this time I managed to publish several publications as a co-author – such as a collection of fairy tales and legends from my hometown or a periodic publication of a book calendar (now a planner) with Slavic themes, of which I am very proud. I will be happy to cooperate in the field of creating illustrations for books or designing characters and magical creatures.
