Algorithmic trading & Python
337 PLNThe aim of this project is to cooperate to the building of a platform of algorithmic trading for tests, made in Python.
A young and very motivated programmist would be appreciated. He must have a very good knowledge in Python, and some interest for market finance, even if only basics of trading are required. He must also speak English.
This project is a long time project, with a possible business creation afterwards.
1. First step. I already made a platform. However, I am a mathematician (Doctor in mathematics) and not a computer science expert, therefore I need an experienced programmist in order to make this platform better and more flexible.
2. Second step. Implement strategies of algorithmic trading (that will be given) and test them.
3. Third step. Link this platform of tests to the real market (possibly with InteractiveBrokers).
4. Complementary project: create an algorihtmic device in order to generate advice in investment. To do in parallel of the main project.

Dear Frederic,
interesting project. I rarely bid on projects, however this one looks very interesting, since it is similar to what I am developing myself, albeit on a different scale I imagine. Mine is linked to algorythmic intraday forex trading. Since you mentioend IB, I presume you will be dealing with stocks.
First of all some words about myself. I am former market risk manager, certified FRM, so I understand financial markets a little bit. I used to develop arbitrage trading and hedging models for a steel producer. My technical stack includes R and Python for statistics mainly, some JS for frontend. I am familiar with software development as well including databases and GUI's.
This is a preliminary bid, because it is difficult to understand the scope of the project at this moment. I am more interested in the possible business venture, your knowledge of math plus my knowledge of markets and programming, rather than one off project.
