Developing complex Access database using a VBA programming

Job Description:

Ecentria Solutions Odessa is seeking a full-time developer (MS Access / VBA / SQL) to participate in developing new and maintaining existing ERP, support database applications, APIs, reports for a complex ecommerce infrastructure. Our current ERP has served the company for years and all this time we were improving it, and right now we are trying to take it to the next level. We are making it more user-friendly, optimizing it towards constantly changing and improving company's business processes, and making it faster. Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

• Designing and developing applications using MS Access 2013 / VBA and MS SQL Server databases
• Making improvements to existing business applications
• Analyzing and optimizing business processes
• Defining, documenting, and validating business and technical requirement 
• Installing, configuring and maintaining additional modules and other 3rd party tools on Company's servers
• Develop custom scripts to automate various business processes
• Review and optimize existing stored procedures, functions, triggers and queries
• Doing occasional development using C#
• Additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications, Skills, and Requirements:

• At least 3 years of experience with MS Access, VB/VBA 
• At least 2 years of experience in writing SQL Server queries
• Sharp understanding of query optimization methods
• Strong problem solving skills
• Positive attitude and strong work ethik 
• Ability to meet multiple deadlines in a multitasking environment
• Clear, effective verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively both technically and non-technically with a wide degree of audiences
• Ability to grasp business and technical concepts quickly and work out complex logic problems
• Experience with C# is a plus 
• Experience with Windows servers, website development, and business analysis is a plus
• Experience with ecommerce is a plus
• Experience with SSRS, Terminal Services, Active Directory is a plus
