Job Responsibilities:
- Ensure that all feature deliverables meet quality objectives in functionality, performance, stability, security, accessibility and data quality
- Collaborate closely with the development and product teams to understand the product requirements, execute the test plan
- Define and participate actively in functional, system, integration and regression testing activities within project timelines, identifying software problems and their root cause
- Work with Software Engineers, Product Managers, and other Quality Engineers in an Agile team environment
- Analyze, troubleshoot, recreate issues reported in the field by existing customers
Job Requirements:
- BS degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience with at least one year of industry work experience
- Basic knowledge of at least one scripting language, as well as willingness to learn others (Perl is ideal)
- Experience in front-end, back-end, automated, performance and regression testing of enterprise web applications would be a plus
- Basic understanding of databases (MySQL, Oracle, MSSQL)
- Basic scripting and automation skills (Selenium, Perl…)
- Basic understanding of scalability and performance for server-side code
- Analytical mind and discipline to work on multiple priorities against tight time deadlines
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Intellectual curiosity and self motivated work style
