There are trucks driving down a measuring device. 3 fixed-installed camera takes photos of the loading areas from above. A software recognizes possible coordinates for a robot-controlled sampling lance, which finally takes samples at several random points within a defined range.
There are 3 main types of vehicles that drive into the measuring device.
1. A truck with one loading area (Pic.1)
2. A truck with two loading areas (trailer) (Pic.2)
3. A silo vehicle with round openings. (Pic.3, 4)
Target: The main task of this part of developing consists in recognizing suitable sampling points in already assembled and rectified images within the working area and outputing randomly up to 8 single pixel-coordinates. This function shall be implemented into the existing programming written in C++ and the Framework used for picture recognating is OpenVC 4.x on a Ubuntu server.
The script to be developed, has to identify the type of vehicle (I-III) and to output adequate pixel-coordinates. Further information e.g. for implementation or existing solution can be provided by the customer on request.
