I’m Santiago, a senior compositor and creative lead with 15+ years of experience across the entire VFX spectrum — from hands-on artistry to leading productions and managing client expectations.

My sweet spot is the fusion between CG and live-action, building photoreal moments that hit both creatively and technically. I’ve worked across multiple countries and quality tiers — from tight indie budgets to top-tier commercials and major features — which taught me how to adapt, solve, and deliver under any condition.

At Behind Studios, I supervise projects with curated teams, often brought in by directors or agencies to solve artistic or production challenges — tight deadlines, limited budget, tricky comp problems, or remote team setups. I lead with calm, humor, and no ego. My job isn’t just to “do the work” — it’s to make sure the project works, no matter the constraints.
