Vasily Babyak

Education:

In 2003, I graduated from the National Technical University of Ukraine " Kiev Polytechnic Institute" and received a full college education with a degree in " Thermal and Nuclear Power Plants " and qualified specialist in energy engineering .

Them of the work: Darnytska electric power station №4 in Kiev. Modernization boiler and turbine equipment. Reconstruction of boiler burner TP -13 ( 75 tons / hour) with order to increase efficiency burning low-grade coal.

From 2003 to 2006 I studied at the graduate school at the Academy of Sciences of Ukraine at the Institute of Engineering Thermophysics ( NASU ITTF ).

Professional experience:

From October 2019 to the present, I have been working in a design and construction company “AC-Eng group" in the position of Chief engineer, head of the project department

Performed work:

The main goals and tasks are the organization of the work of the project department and implementation new and modern design principles based on 3D modeling (BIM-technologies). Development of the concept and energy-efficient solutions, placement of the main ones construction of the biogas complex and execution of project sections: TC (production technology), TM (heat station, boiler house, heating networks), TXgaz (biogas gas supply systems and biomethane).

From 09.2018 to 10.2019 (1 year).  I am currently working in the project organization of "Envitek" Ltd. as Chief Engineer, Chief Specialist in Heat and Gas Supply and Technological Part Executed work: During this period of work in the company the following work was carried out:

- Design of technological communications and systems of heat supply, gas supply, heating, air supply of biogas complex with cogeneration units "Embacher" (performed sections of the project: gas supply, heat supply of fermenters, heat supply, heating networks, heating and ventilation, technological solutions).

-Adaptation of the Western project on engineering of the biogas complex to the existing norms and rules of Ukraine, reconcilation of technical solutions with Western partners. Examination and obtaining a positive conclusion for the beginning of construction.

- Issue of the task and verification of drawings of contractors (water supply and sewage system, architectural and construction part, EIA).

- Cooperation with Western companies on the selection of basic equipment and approval of technical solutions according to the developed projects.

During this period 2 biogas complexes with a total electric power of 3 MW were designed, and about 3 pre-design variants were worked out.

From 04.2014 to 09.2018. (4 years 5 months) I worked in the design organization "Zorg Biogas of Ukraine" as the head of the department of heat and gas supply, a native specialist.

Executed work:

During the period of my labor activity at the company "Zorg biogas of Ukraine" the following work was carried out:

- Management and verification of the correctness of the decisions taken by the specialists of the department of heat and gas supply. Definition and distribution of priority tasks in the process. Controlling the execution of works at all stages

- Carrying out research in the software packages (Ansys, Comsol mul-tiphisics) on the analysis of the operation of the systems of heat and gas supply of biogas complex with further improvement of design decisions.

- Development of calculation programs (for gas supply, heating of enzymes, heat supply) in the software package Mathcad to reduce the time for calculations of heating systems for tanks, gas supply and heat supply and making optimal decisions regarding the choice of main equipment and diameters of pipelines depending on different modes of operation biogas complex.

- Design of heat supply systems, gas supply, heating, air-conditioning of the biogas complex with cogeneration units "Embacher" (performed sections of the project: gas supply, heat supply of fermenters, heat supply station, heating networks, heating and ventilation, technological solutions).

For the entire period of work he participated in the design of heat supply systems, gas supply in about 30 projects of biogas complexes with electric capacity - from 1 to 12 MW. The total capacity of the projected facilities was 52 MW, of which 37 MW are used or built.

From 2011 to 03.2014 I have been working in the design and installation company PP "NT Energotehservis " as the head of the department of heating , at the same time serving as a Senior engineer.

Work in Progress : The work on the design of boilers and heat - point average power (thermal power 1 - 3 MW). In addition, the lead  supervision over the execution of works for the construction of boiler house thermal power of 30 MW for the needs for heating and water supplies state enterprise airport "Borispol"

With 08.2009 to 12.2011 . worked in the design organization "SPECTRUM" of "Mironovsky hleboprodukt " as a chief specialist in designing boilers , heating pipes and other. In addition, the work was carried out by energy audits in enterprises "Mironovsky hleboprodukt " in order to reduce energy consumption.

Work in Progress : the development of projects of medium and large boilers and heat points ( steam and water ). Designing pipes of steam and hot water.

With 06.2008 to 07.2009. worked in the company " Kolvi " as an engineer - designer  boiler house avarage power ( up to 10.1 MW) and high power ( greater than 10 MW) and heat points .

Work in Progress : the development of projects of medium and large boilers and heat points ( steam and water ). Designing pipes of steam and hot water.

Knowledge of languages: Russian , Ukrainian - fluent , English – advanced.

Additional information:

- engage in the collection and analysis of data , technical information on the operation of biogas plants for medium and large agricultural land. Plans for the future in more detail in the design and devel- opment of biogas plants as well as improving their performance;

- fluency in engineering software products : AutoCAD, Revit, Plant3D, Compass , RauWin / RauCad, Office, MathCad;

- solution of engineering problems using the MF application programming : Pascal, Visual Basic for AutoCAD and Excel.

Professional achievements and skills:

1) Design and supervision of construction works for installation of steam- water boiler house  (capacity 0,5-30 MW)  and steam -water grids .

2) Design of the district heating system for biogas complex sugar mill in the village Rokitno Kyiv region with electric power of 2.2 MW (ZORG BioGAS Co - September 2013) . Were carried out work on the design of heat supply , external heating networks and heating systems substances in fermenters .

3 ) Conduct energy audits on powerful thermal power plants of the corporation " Kazakhmys " in the Republic of Kazakhstan. Namely, Balhashska CHP Zhezkazgan CHP power plant in Karaganda, thermal station number 1 and number 2 in Satpaeva ( 2012). As a result of the above test facilities were developed basic technical and economic measures to improve the energy performance of major equipment and facility as a whole.

4) When designing a new facility or renovation, I carried out calculations of heat loads on the platform to develop the concept of energy facility design. A well developed feasibility studies for the implementation of new systems and technologies.

5) Developed and implemented into practice schemes for rational use of heat on a number of leading companies glass products of Ukraine and Russia, such as:

- " Bucha factory glass " ( Ukraine ) - heat utilization plants 1,7 MW (2005 );

- " Glassworks Rokytnivskyi " ( Ukraine ) - heat utilization plants 1,4 MW (2006 );

- " Piskivskyy Glassware Factory " ( Ukraine ) - heat utilization plants 1,5 MW (2007 );

-  " Aktis " (Russia, Novocherkassk) - heat utilization plants 1,1 MW (2008), and others.

6) Was developed and partially implemented the project on insulation of buildings in the City Irpen .

7) Developed measures to improve energy efficiency in the company of " Mironovsky Hleboprodukt ", which specializes in growing and processing of chicken.
