About the Project
I run an English-language YouTube interview channel featuring long-form, in-depth conversations with interesting and influential people (entrepreneurs, creators, investors, thinkers, etc.). I’m looking for a proactive, creative Guest Manager who can help me secure great guests and grow the show.

Key Responsibilities

  • Research & identify potential guests

    • Find relevant and exciting profiles for upcoming episodes (founders, experts, creators, public figures, etc.)

    • Keep a running list / pipeline of potential guests aligned with the show’s themes

  • Outreach & communication

    • Craft and send personalised, compelling outreach messages (email, LinkedIn, Instagram, agents, PRs, assistants)

    • Follow up professionally and persistently until we get a clear yes/no

    • Represent the show in a confident, friendly, professional way

  • Ideas & co-creation

    • Suggest new guest ideas and angles for episodes

    • Brainstorm together which guests would fit specific topics or storylines

    • Help prioritise who we should go after first

  • Coordination

    • Schedule interviews (time zones, availability, formats – in-person/online)

    • Make sure guests have all the necessary information before the recording

    • Keep everything organised in a simple tracking system (Notion/Google Sheets)

Requirements

  • Strong English – ideally native speaker or C1 level

  • Excellent written communication skills: you know how to write short, sharp, engaging outreach messages

  • Experience in at least one of the following:

    • PR, comms, influencer marketing, sales, or similar outreach-heavy role

  • Naturally persistent: you know how to follow up without being annoying

  • High level of emotional intelligence – you can “feel” how to approach different types of people

  • Organised and reliable: you can keep track of multiple conversations and follow-ups

What I’m Looking For in a Person

  • Creative – finds non-obvious ways to reach people

  • Resourceful – doesn’t give up after “no response”, tries alternative angles and contacts

  • Idea-driven – not just executing, but also bringing their own suggestions on who we should invite

  • Goal-oriented – if I say “I want THIS guest”, you treat it as a mission and do everything possible to get through to them
