Contract JavaScript Developer
We are seeking a talented and experienced Contract JavaScript Developer to join our team on a contract basis. As a JavaScript Developer, you will be responsible for implementing and customizing CMS solutions to meet our specific requirements. Your expertise in JavaScript will be instrumental in developing and enhancing website, landing pages, blog posts and other digital assets. Due to a complex build, our website contains a substantial amount of technical code, necessitating the need for an individual with strong coding skills.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with our team and contractors to understand project requirements and objectives
- Develop and customize CMS templates, modules, and themes
- Implement and maintain web pages, landing pages, and blog templates using CMS
- Ensure responsive design and optimal user experience across various devices and platforms
- Integrate CMS with third-party systems and tools, such as CRMs and marketing automation platforms
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to CMS implementation and performance
- Conduct thorough testing to ensure quality and functionality of implemented solutions
- Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in CMS development
- Ensure the website is optimized to achieve SEO.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a JavaScript Developer, preferably in a contract or freelance capacity
- Strong proficiency in custom template development, module creation, theme customization and custom coding
- Proficient in other web technologies such as HTML, CSS, and jQuery
- Familiarity with responsive web design principles and best practices
- Experience integrating web CMS with third-party systems and APIs
- Knowledge of SEO best practices and website optimization techniques
- Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to deliver high-quality work within deadlines
- Effective communication and collaboration skills in a remote work environment
