POSITION:

The Copywriter applies online retail copywriting and editing expertise in conceptualizing and creating copy for OvernightPrints.com. Working closely with the Marketing and European teams, this role supports Overnightprints.com in conceiving clear, persuasive, original copy to maximize site usability, and optimize overall branding efforts. You will work with marketing team members to analyze site performance using web analytics, and optimize the effectiveness of designs and creative elements. This is a high impact, high visibility position.

Specific duties and responsibilities include:

·         Writing clear, persuasive, original copy for web pages, landing pages, emails, newsletters, blogs, and print marketing campaigns.

·         Amending, revising or redeveloping campaigns in response to feedback from managers.

·         Incorporating SEO best practices into content, including links, keyword density, and keyword variations.

·         Submitting ideas and discussing progress with marketing managers.

·         Brainstorming ideas and concepts.

REQUIREMENTS:

This position requires a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline (such as English, Journalism or Communications). An advanced degree is highly desirable.

Specific requirements and qualifications include:

·         You MUST have 5 years of professional direct response copywriting experience in support of an online marketing group in a business-to-consumer or business-to-business online retail operation.

·         You MUST have strong experience copywriting and testing for online communications - online solicitation and email experience required.

·         You MUST have expert-level proficiency in Powerpoint, Word, Excel, and be very internet savvy.

·         Experience in brand strategy is a plus.

·         Experience working and living in the UK is strongly preferred.
