1. Log/in Registration simplification. We are combining SignUp, Request an Account, and SignIn into one tap and from there will be offering those 3 options. This change is recommended for a less confusing main navigation, simple user flow, and less busy header.
2. Checkout Process. I have simplified checkout by combining some form fields as well as One Page Checkout for design best practices. And for this to be changed we need to get a Magento extension: https://amasty.com/one-step-checkout-for-magento-2.html.
A simple checkout page makes the shopper feel secure about their purchase and shortens the time that will potentially be a result of more purchases.
3. Pop-up Confirmation on deleting cart items. I recommend this function to prevent accidental cart removal. If someone accidentally deletes the cart it is most likely they will leave the website.
4. Filters on SHOP ALL product page. I would like someone's input regarding existing filters and how can we potentially add more to make it easier for the user to find a specific product. My research has shown that many of the competitors offer some different filters for files, for example:
- Length
- Taper
- Tip SizeCurrently, you have 21 pages of the products: https://endo.sswhitedental.com/endodontics.html#p=21 . My concern, how many customers will click through each of them to find the right product? Can we help the customer by adding some more filters (on the left) to ease the search?
5. Access and option to buy from the main site: https://www.sswhitedental.com/. This was the problem I draw a user flow to illustrate how conversion can drop because of this issue. And I have noticed this has only been fixed for selected products (not every product).
We shall add a “Buy” CTA button on each product page that will link us to the second website where you can log/in and actually purchase the product.
I would also like to know what's the visit rate on both websites as well...
6. Drop-down in the main navigation menu. I recommend expending this by allowing the user to see more products SSWhite offers by hovering over the menu. Not only do we show more products this way, but help user to select the right product category faster which should result in a faster purchase.
7. Order Confirmation. It is expected nowadays that an e-commerce website should show you a confirmation along with the estimated delivery or shipment date or any other update.
8. Adding Security Logo/ Seal. "Trust seal" still plays a somehow valuable role in e-commerce (please see the image), checkout, and reasons for abandoned carts. We would like to hear your feedback or any suggestions as well as an opinion regarding ERP and Epicor and how our changes potentially can influent it. I’m more than happy to schedule a phone call to go over all the changes and recommendations with you and Carrie over the call.
