System administrator

We are looking for an experienced engineer with deep knowledge and broad experience across Microsoft-based technologies. This employee will be a member of the Information Technology Support team and will maintain remote systems all across client’s environment.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

• Cisco CCENT Routing & Switching, MCSA Windows Server 2012 R2 (1 (Deployment and Management) of 3 (Administration and Maintenance Enterprise) exams passed, or 2016 line) will be great asset
• Bachelor’s or advanced degree in computer science, engineering, IT, information systems, math, physics, or similar technical discipline + 3 years of systems administration experience; OR 5+ years of systems administration experience without a degree
• Experience with physical and virtual Windows servers in enterprise level environment
• Experience with Active Directory, Kerberos, and multi-platform authentication/identification environments
• Basic automation scripting experience in PowerShell and/or Python
• Basic skills in Linux
• Writing and Reading Intermediate English skills
• Good references from previous employers
• Being generally available 8:00 to 17:00 EST

PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• Expertise in creating reliable systems architectures, with high availability, fault tolerance, performance tuning and monitoring
• Professional working knowledge (including the ability to setup, configure, upgrade, manage, troubleshoot) Windows-based systems and services such as DHCP, DNS, IIS
• Experience with designing, maintaining, and supporting Microsoft Hyper-V
• Networking experience in IPv4, switching, routing, firewalls architecture
• Must be comfortable working with mission critical and sensitive systems, with a sense of urgency appropriate to the responsibilities
• Knowledge in PowerShell scripting; experience with writing scripts and automation-driven processes
• Excellent communications skills with the ability to communicate with internal/external customers, vendors, management etc. in both formal and informal situations.
