About the company

We are a CPA company based in NYC. We are looking for an experienced IT specialist / AI automation engineer to design and implement a private, locally hosted AI knowledge and automation system. The project involves deploying a secure local LLM and document-retrieval environment on a private server, with strict client-data separation, source-cited responses, document ingestion, and automated meeting transcription and summaries.

The right specialist will be comfortable owning the solution from architecture through deployment, security, testing, documentation, and handover. Strong experience with self-hosted AI systems, RAG, Python backend development, document-processing pipelines, VPS infrastructure, access control, and production security practices is essential.

Because we handle confidential client information, privacy and reliability are central to this role. Client data must remain within our private environment and must not be shared with external AI providers. We are seeking a practical, security-minded partner who can build a maintainable system that scales with the firm.
