TECHNICAL TASK FOR THE COMPETITION
Development of the design of the frieze ("header") of the exhibition stand for the brand VINILAM
1. General Information and Purpose
Client: VINILAM (vinyl flooring).
Development Object: Design of the upper part of the exhibition stand (frieze, "header", topper).
Final Goal: Create a visually appealing, informative, and emotionally engaging design that will make the company's stand stand out at the exhibition, instantly convey the USP (unique selling proposition) of the product, and evoke a desire to purchase.
2. Key Product and Style
Product: Vinyl flooring that imitates parquet laid in a "herringbone" pattern.
Style: Colorful, modern, "tasty" imagery. The design should be premium but understandable to a wide audience.
Use of AI: Allowed and encouraged for creating unique visual effects or photorealistic elements.
3. Mandatory Design Elements (Only for the "header")
3.1. Text Information:
The design must include the following texts (can be combined and varied in size depending on the composition):
Brand: VINILAM.
Note: The current logo may be used or a reimagined version of the writing style may be proposed if it enhances the overall concept. (take from the site vinilam.ua )
Installation Type (mandatory): on glue
Subtype/Texture Name: "Herringbone parquet" or "Parquet herringbone".
International Name (preferably): Herringbone.
3.2. Visualization of Characteristics (on a subconscious level):
The design should convey the following advantages of the product without directly listing them in text (through images, colors, textures):
Good and Quality Product: A sense of reliability, premium material.
Water Resistance: Possible use of elements associated with water (drops, splashes, but stylized so as not to look cheap).
Durability: Clarity of lines, a sense of strength.
Eco-friendliness: Natural shades, clean textures.
3.3. Product Visualization:
Mandatory presence of a schematic-photographic element that clearly and instantly conveys to a person that this is indeed flooring and how it looks (wood texture, "herringbone" pattern).
3.4. Technical Elements:
QR Code: Must be organically integrated into the design and lead to the company's website.
4. Evaluation Criteria
Clarity: How quickly the visitor understands what product it is (flooring, herringbone, vinyl) and what its advantages are.
Creativity and Style: Originality of the found color and compositional solutions.
Attention-Grabbing: Emotional impact of the design, desire to approach closer.
Compliance with the Terms of Reference: Presence of all mandatory elements.
