Character design for the mini Bluetooth speaker Mimi Friends

Main task of the character design contest:  

It is necessary to create a design for a new mini speaker of the Ukrainian brand MimiFriends, where:
Mimi - cute Friends - friends.

We have been selling children's speakers and more for 6 years. Now there is a need for new models (some need to be replaced, some need to be created from scratch)

The contest is open for a new character that will win the hearts of our customers. We want to continue creating new ones and redesigning existing ones with the winner.

Is the character real or fictional (human, animal, mythological or fairy-tale character, or does it need to be invented)?  
There are no clear criteria.
The main thing is that the new character:
- differs from those currently in our assortment;
- does not overlap with characters that require copyright (Mickey Mouse, Paw Patrol, Pikachu, etc.)

In what style should the task be performed? 

• full color
• bright

Specify the gender and age of the future character.  
Not important

Specify the items, clothing (uniform), details that you would like to see in the character:   
The character must have the same shape as all other characters in the collection - the size and position of the eyes are the same for all. The shape of the ears and horns can only be chosen from those available in the assortment on the website and in the attached template.

What impression should the character's image create?  
- the desire to give a speaker to a child;
- the desire of the child to love it and use it (many kids imagine their MimiFriends speaker as their friend and take it with them everywhere);
- possibly tenderness, like: “oh how cute it is”;

Where will the character be placed? 

• the new speaker will be presented in the MimiFriends store, on Rozetka, and in stores of our partners.
  
  

Does your company have a logo or corporate style?  

Should it be used in the design?  
Yes, it is preferable to place the logo on the back of the speaker at the bottom.

In what color scheme should the character be depicted?  
Not important. Preferably, not in dark tones.

In what form would you like to receive the final material?  
The factory needs a vector image in Ai format (the template with the example is attached as a file). The template needs to be exactly like in the example (the details will be adjusted by them)

If you cannot do it in this format - it is not critical, just let us know when you attach the work,  you can find a specialist separately for this. It is important for us that the design is cool. The technical side is also important, but it is secondary.

Provide any additional information that you consider important.  

We need a creative specialist to create this character and the next ones, for long-term cooperation.

The work is creative and interesting. It will be a great case for your portfolio. Moreover, it is nice to touch something bigger than just an item.  Do you agree?
