It is necessary to design 3 screens for a mobile application for planning meetings with friends.

With the winner of the competition, it is planned to continue working on completing the full design of the application.

Idea description: An application for planning meetings with friends. A hybrid of Meetup with social mechanics and geo-positioning.

Similar applications to focus on: Zenly, Life360, Meetup (all have analogs on iOS)

Geography: USA, AU, CA, UK

Target audience: Teenagers and young people aged 14-35

Platform: For the first version, only Android

Is there a chosen style, logo, icons, etc.: No, however, a good example from which ideas can be taken is  Zenly, Life360

Preferred colors: Youthful and bright, see for example in Zenly.

Use of additional characters: At your discretion

Scope of work:

Create 3 Screens, two of which have a Tap Bar with three buttons: Events, Friends, Settings.

  1. Screen/map showing events: to understand what should be watch the video where there is a map that pulls out a list (from Life360). A similar map is also in  Zenly.
    Buttons that must be present.
    1. Map as the base
    2. List of events that pulls out
    3. “Add event” button (in Life360 there is one in the list of circles in the video)
    4. “Add friend” button
    5. Bell button “Notifications” (for which there will be messages about changes and new friend requests)
    6. On the map, there should be 1-2 points (map pin) with a person's face inside. These are planned events at the moment
    7. “Filter” button (which in the future will lead to a filter by the radius of event search, date when they will take place, and accepted invitations)
  2. Screen with the list of friends: this is a screen where you can view the friends you have added and create “Circles” (analogous to groups in Telegram or FB or Viber) with which you can communicate and plan meetings for their participants.
Controls that must be present on the screen
    1. List of friends (first name/last name, photo, other at your discretion)
    2. “Add new friend” button
    3. View of “Circles” (groups) created by the user. They need to be visually distinguished from friends
    4. Display at least 1 request from someone to add as a friend
  3. Screen for creating a new event/meeting: this is a screen where you need to plan a new event for yourself and friends.
There should be the following fields
    1. Field for entering the event name
    2. Field for entering the event description
    3. Calendar button with the date, for selecting the date of the event
    4. Button / Dropdown list with the “circle” of friends (group) with which the event is planned to be shared
    5. Map or button with the event location
    6. Create/decline event buttons
    7. Button - Share event
    8. Possible addition of an event photo, if you consider it appropriate

Screen prototypes can be found at this link, but do not limit yourself to the shown mockups, new ideas are welcome.

In your work, you can use stock images.

You can add elements (fields, buttons, texts) that you consider necessary to the already named fields. Showing additional screens with various active elements and animations is welcome.

Final design format for acceptance - preferably Figma, but Adobe XD, Axure, and others are also accepted if we can organize online access and commenting on elements later.

I will answer your questions and clarifications.

Updates
Update #1

Please note that the main audience will still be young people who will be planning meetings with friends, so mainly this is ages 14-27. Therefore, the color scheme you choose should also be appropriate - friendly/a little more cheerful than standard business applications.
