A competition has been organized for naming what?

 The product

General requirements:

The name should be easy to remember, catchy, original, and easy to read/pronounce. It is important to understand that the name should be appealing not only to young children and their mothers but also to teenagers who might want to buy the product but are embarrassed to purchase a brand with an obviously childish name. In other words, the ideal name should be understandable and attractive to children but also have an element of “coolness” that is important for teenagers. Research has shown that consumers of corn sticks value qualities such as sweetness (sweet but not cloying), crunchiness, and tenderness. The name should also not be banal or obvious (example: Kukuza). Finally, it should not be associated with other types of products or repeat something already existing in the market.

Company's line of business:

We are an established company producing snacks and appetizers. Our firm is planning to launch a line of sweet corn sticks. To start, we want to determine an original name, after which we will proceed to create a logo, slogan, and design.

Description of product/service categories:

Category of children's-teen snacks. Sticks of standard elongated shape. Imagine golden, crispy, airy, and tender sticks coated with powdered sugar that melt in your mouth. Other flavors such as condensed milk or cheese sticks may be added later.

Distribution channels and sales geography:

The countries of the former USSR with a large Russian-speaking population.

Target audience portrait:

Children under 10-12 years old, as well as their mothers who often make the choice. However, we also hope to capture the segment of teenagers and young adults.

Closest competitors:

Sticks of the brands Slastena, Solnyshko, Naturo, Kuzya Lakomkin, etc.

Main competitive advantages of the company:

We still need to answer this question, but the name should be one of the distinguishing factors. It should attract not only young children but also teenagers. Our company also stands out for its high production quality, and the product will be positioned as a premium product but at an affordable price.

Is there a creative concept (what should the name mean)?

No, but when faced with the name, the consumer should feel: positivity, brightness, tastiness of the product, adventure, and fun. The name should “click.”

Is it allowed/welcome to tie the name to the owner's surname/name, geographical location, field of activity, or another key word (please specify)?

No

Can the name be a neologism (new form)?

Yes

What words and phrases are better not to use?

Negative words, metaphors, and complex words.  The name should be simple and understandable, but originality is more than welcome.

Language of writing:

Latin script.  We think not to use specific and national words, and in the name, we lean towards a more Western naming, but we are also open to a Russian name written in Latin script. In other words, the name can be a purely English word (Cheetos) or a Russian word written in Latin script (Hroom!). It can also be a combination of the two, using a play on words (Hrusteam, Beerka), but such a name is not easy to come up with.

Number of words in the name:

One

Examples of snack names that we personally like:

Slastena (corn sticks), Cheetos (cheese sticks), Dorritos (nachos), Hrusteam (croutons), Cheeser (cheese snacks), Pringles (chips), Jazz (nuts)

Updates
Update #1

Please read the Brief carefully! The title must be written in LATIN letters. Titles written in Cyrillic will not be considered. I also ask you not to send titles with the root Hrum and Hrust, due to their banality and the existence of similar products on the market (Hrumka, Hrustteam). Finally, titles using the obvious root Corn will NOT be considered. Thank you!

Update #2

Another note to the participants. The title does not necessarily have to be directly related to the properties of the product. The main thing is that it should not be associated with other product categories. Otherwise, do not be afraid to let your imagination run wild : -)
