Where and in what capacity do you plan to use the icons?
I will conduct an A/B test with the icon set and apply the most suitable one as the app icon for movies from YouTube.
How many icons need to be created? (recommended maximum quantity is 10 pieces)
10 variations of the main icon will be sufficient
What should be depicted on the icons?
The icon should contain a "play" button or something similar (like a movie symbol), indicating that the app has movies. It might be possible to simply modify the play symbol, wrap it, remove something from it, or add something.
An important point is that the icon (or its variants - icons) should resemble the YouTube brand while not being so similar that Google Play moderators would consider it a violation. My current ideal is good in my opinion, but unfortunately, I feel it may be too similar to YouTube and needs to be refined or redesigned. The main color of the app - #d50000 (red) should be present. Currently, both the app and the icon are two colors - #d50000 (red) and white. These two colors can be combined in any way (for example, swapping the background and icon colors), as long as they remain present.
Can there be shades on the icon? Yes, of course.

No

What should be the style of the icons?
A minimalist yet bright icon that immediately invites you to click on it.
Are there any requirements for the shape of the icons?
Without sharp corners (the corners should be rounded)
What size do the icons need to be?
512x512 PNG and SVG
