It is necessary to create 2 characters for the food product line.

To participate in the contest, please familiarize yourself with the document at the link - Character Bible. This document describes the personality traits of the characters, their features, mindset, their environment, everything that makes them live characters in the eyes of the viewer.

Technical requirements:

  • Flat design
  • Bright colors
  • Characters closer to cartoons or comics
  • Placement of drawings on a black coffee pack, the base will always be black
  • File type - vector, if impossible - write in a personal message, we will discuss options.

Idea:

To create a mini-comic based on two characters from one picture that evokes a pleasant emotion - I ALSO WANT ADVENTURES! TRAVELS! NEW EMOTIONS!

Implementation: 

  • One drawing is needed with 2 characters standing next to each other and looking warmly at the viewer. See the attached file for an example - Sample 1.
  • It is necessary to incorporate the two characters into one of the proposed stories, of your choice. This is necessary for understanding the final product. Examples of similar solutions can be found in the attached files Sample 2, Sample 3, Sample 4.
  • The resulting story must be placed on a black coffee pack. Volume 250 g, type - Doy-Pack, see the example in the attached file Sample 5. Alternatively, you can find a pack in stock images, it is not critical.
  • Image size: 7.5 cm width 13 cm height.
  • The story can include the brand name - BOB`SWAY COFFEE, similar to Samples 2, 3, 4.
  • IN TOTAL, YOU SHOULD HAVE 3 FILES AT THE OUTPUT: CHARACTERS, STORY OF YOUR CHOICE, MOCKUP ON THE COFFEE PACK.

Stories to choose from:

  1. The guy with Bob is standing on the sand in the Caribbean. They are pirates. There is a treasure chest nearby. In the distance, a sailing ship. In the sand, a bottle of pirate rum and a coconut tree. They are singing a pirate song. The guy might have a ukulele nearby or in his hands.
  2. The guy with Bob in New York. The guy looks in awe at the skyscrapers, while the cat devours a huge piece of strawberry cheesecake, ignoring everyone.
  3. The guy in the kitchen is holding freshly baked cinnamon rolls for his guest. The cat is reaching out to steal one roll.

Questions have arisen regarding the samples of the cat and the hero that I attached earlier.

I added them to note the following:

I like the shape of the cat. He is not skinny, but not fat like Garfield. His smile is magical; he is not just a cat. He is definitely orange, maybe not completely, the intensity of the orange can be changed. I don't know if there are stripes or not - try it.

The guy in the picture - the hair length and messiness, body type, nose. Although my hero is a bit older, around 27 years old. Here he looks younger.

If you remember the Scooby-Doo cartoon - the guy comes to mind. And the dog. Their images are quite vivid. The old versions of the cartoon. I am looking for similarly expressive characters.

And of course, they do not have to be necessarily proportional or anatomically correct. This is a comic, a cartoon, a story. They can further transform in the stories. Tom and Jerry - they cut, elongate, and shrink. Their own world.

We kindly ask you to follow the technical specifications. A separate file with full-length characters is needed to understand their anatomical features. A separate file with the story, specifically our story to choose from, as they have been pre-thought-out. A separate file with a mockup on a coffee pack, where you can place it from another angle for understanding the final product. And regarding the format of the final files.
