Firstly, communication was unstable and not always clear. Many details had to be clarified several times, and sometimes I didn't receive answers to important questions at all.
Regarding payment, the client initially defined a certain scope of work, but then regularly added new tasks that had not been agreed upon in advance. This, of course, increased the workload, but the additional payment for extra duties was so small that it felt unfriendly. Only 500 UAH for additional tasks that required significantly more time and effort than was initially agreed upon. This created the impression that the client does not truly value the freelancer's efforts.
In fact, for the entire scope of work, it felt like absolutely unfair treatment towards me as a specialist. The promised payment and the actual funding of the tasks did not match, which over time turned the collaboration into a stressful and unpleasant situation.
Overall, I can say that collaboration with this client did not meet my expectations. If you decide to work with him, be sure to clarify all the details at the very beginning and check the terms of reference several times before starting work, as new requirements that were not previously discussed may arise on the go. If you do not want your work to be inadequately valued, be prepared for the fact that the price may not correspond to the actual scope of work, and you will have to spend time on additional clarifications.
