Nikolai is quite an adequate customer, but unfortunately, like all people, he has his shortcomings. In his case, this is a mess with money, not an accurate statement of tasks. About all this in order.

Nikolay's 1st project meant to clean up the code and optimize the page loading speed. His original site was made by a person not responsible, since there were links in the code, some third-party scripts and styles were constantly loaded. Which his project was absolutely not used. In the process of communication and evaluation of the cost of the work, I suggested to Nikolai "to move to a new CMS". The customer agreed. We began to discuss the timing and cost of the project. I initially prepared the BRIF and T3, where I indicated the actual time and cost of the project. Since Nikolai and I constantly did not agree on the price, I suggested that he set the optimal amount for each item of the terms of reference. (My amount was in T3, next to it was a field for entering the optimal amount, for Nikolai).The customer assessed the T3 with the words: "In $1,000 we will bet?“”Despite the honest assessment, I still went to Nicholas for a meeting, and agreed to develop his project for NOTHING LITTLE cost, as we decided that the deadline for the implementation of the project is more than 2 months.Cold approved T3, divided the development into stages.Since the development was initially carried out on his server, I asked for a 50% pre-payment from one stage of the project, Nicholas arranged it, received a pre-payment of 1,800 rubles (accept, this is an unproportionate small amount of pre-payment.for the development of the project).I started to work, and I got it.Initially, the design was not in the head of Nicholas.and me.Three design variants were developed and overwhelmed, and each of them Nikolai banned (this is already 4 days of work).We agreed that we rework the main design under a paid theme (for EUR 85).The volume of work has already been greater than it was at first, but I was proud and I decided to continue working with Nicholas.Not raising the budget, not delaying the deadlines.I decided to start developing a site hat. Here, too, there were some interesting moments. Nikolay likes to dose information about how he sees the final result. So, after I developed the first version of the header and put it on the site. Nikolay started adding elements to it, not understanding at all that I am making these elements not just static blocks as in HTML layout, but full-fledged elements that are controlled from the admin panel. And adding each new element was not so easy, because Nikolai asked them to "put" them in an absolutely random place on the hat, then asked them to move them, then play a little with the sizes, move them some more. But in the end, in most cases they returned to the original version (the way I originally arranged them). I made all these edits in real time directly to the server. And by this point, I had already worked on the project for almost 11 days.

One day, Nikolay offered to stop cooperation, because "I can't do what he plans", and asked to return half of the advance payment. Of course, I was surprised, I showed Nikolay a list of "unnecessary" work, which included full CMS setup, currency connection, multilingual connection, SEO optimization, advanced product management, filter settings and much more. Yes, Nikolai did not ask me to do them initially. He apparently wanted to manage his store "at random". Although translation, currencies and SEO optimization were on the list of his requirements. These items were spelled out in T3.

I agreed to return the prepayment, but asked to pay the back-and part, which I already did. Nikolai decided that I was playing him. OK.

It didn't occur to Nikolay, either, that I had been working on his project for 14 days. These 14 days I could work on other projects that would have paid me. Nikolai also did not consider it necessary, even just for human reasons, to estimate that I honestly worked on his project, and its final result directly depended on his desires. And I did my job perfectly. But, alas.

Okay, agreed to return the advance payment.He asked Nicholas not to wait a long time with the money, because at that moment they were really not there.I spent 2 weeks working for myself.I would give Nicholas the duty, he honestly waited as much as required.Later I and Nicholas agreed that I would transfer money to him on qiwi.I did so.I sent him a translation screen.The cheque.And here began the most interesting.I’m often working with Kiwi.I did not have any payments when I did not.Not with transfer of money, not with receipt.
But with Nicole, it went differently:

I made a request to them.Kivi support - payment confirmed
N - Money has not received - created a request for that support for the kiwi - the translation has not been confirmed.That is what they have finished.Leave these 950 rubles, it will remain on the conscience of Nicholas, the dog with these money.Not such a big amount.But this is his attitude to work I will remember for a long time.There is no one who has not appreciated the work of a developer as low as Nicholas.How much I remember You are doing programming yourself (HTML, CSS version).And before you criticize my programming skills, ask yourself a question.Why is there so much unnecessary code on your website?Why don’t you get the design you’d like to see?Why does your website load third-party scripts, styles?PRO SCRIN - if Nikolai, you know what the machinacies with the check of payments from kiwi, then I shouldn't match you in this matter.Personally, I am not trying to insert something into the source code of the payment system.And for your information I have a bill on payment of your requests, who is interested, please contact me to show.It is strange that you call me such.I honestly worked on your project for two weeks.I did not increase your budget, I did not increase your budget.For you, this is an indicator of irresponsibility.Nicholas, a very pleasant person in communication.But anyone who will cooperate with him in the future should be ready to rapidly increase the volume of work, without increasing the budget.In general, Nicholas, you are a customer from the "Hallowner" section (not passing on personality).I am not satisfied with work with you.I am not very satisfied with your unconscious attitude towards the developers.I wish you later learn as much programming language (especially PHP) as possible, so that you would finally understand how it is to do “unnecessary” work.For which you will never be paid.
