For this client, force majeure circumstances with electricity in the country are not a problem of the state providing people with electricity, but a problem of the contractor.
After agreeing on project terms between the parties, the client did not make a payment reservation for a long time to start working on the project. The site administration wrote to the client for several days, "To start work on the project, you need to make a payment reservation. If you are unable to make the payment, you have incorrectly specified the project currency or encountered any other difficulties, please reply to this message - we will be happy to help you!". Only after a few days did the client make a payment reservation. Only after the payment reservation did work on the project begin.
After the third day of working on the project, the electricity started to be cut off. The client was informed in writing in the "Project Work Area" that the contractor was unable to complete the project on time due to force majeure circumstances - electricity cuts (all people felt very acutely during this difficult time when electricity was provided for less than 2 hours, then cut off for 4-8 hours or more, during these less than 2 hours of electricity supply, it was barely possible to prepare food).
All contracts have a clause called FORCE MAJEURE - circumstances that make it impossible to perform work at all or on time.
The client was offered to complete the project without execution due to force majeure circumstances - frequent and prolonged electricity cuts. For several days, the client did not respond directly - should we continue the project or close it. Only after a few days, he expressed a desire to continue working. Meanwhile, electricity cuts became even more frequent and prolonged, probably due to repairs of generating facilities and intensification of abnormal heat in the country. The client rudely stated, "these are your concerns".
For this client, force majeure circumstances with electricity in the country are not a problem of the state providing people with electricity, but a problem of the contractor. And the client does not know that force majeure circumstances are stipulated in every contract for the performance of any work in jurisprudence.
This project was closed by the site administration without completion due to force majeure circumstances - constant and prolonged power outages.
I do not recommend doing business with this client.
