With my extensive experience working remotely on various platforms with clients from different countries, I encountered for the first time that my review would be so detailed while my impressions are very mixed.
I can't say anything bad about Alexey; he is polite, without any rudeness, and communicates calmly. Therefore, the entire comment concerns only the project.
The project was completed according to the assignment and the attached examples. Importantly, it was delivered ahead of schedule.
After checking by Alexey, it turned out that the files should also work on the Mac operating system. This nuance was not described in the assignment. Unfortunately, the programming principle on Mac is completely different. Such a simple connector in Power Query like Folder.Files does not work on Mac; it is simply not there, it does not exist. And this is where the problems began with that one computer.
Communication was moved to Telegram for Alexey's convenience, and I understood the risks I was taking (the administration does not consider such correspondence in Arbitration).
Of my own accord, I helped to bypass this restriction, moreover, without any conditions, I created a set of files with scripts for Mac. I also resolved all other problems on Mac that the operator who tested that Mac encountered.
Changing the assignment, various revisions, and considering all new requests "can we do it this way too?" lasted a whole working week.
In the end, the operator confirmed that everything works, but the conditions under which the script processes data (all according to the assignment) are not suitable; it needs to be different. And then I receive a message that everything is okay, but there is one remark that needs to be corrected. I am sorry, but this is not a remark but yet another rewriting of the assignment. I was ready to write to Arbitration, but at that moment Alexey closed the project, thank you for the saved time.
Payment 1 out of 10. Initially, the scope of work and budget were okay, but due to how much time and other personal resources were spent, I earned nothing.
Task setting 10 out of 10. The assignment itself was described well, everything is clear.
Requirements 5 out of 10. Due to the fact that the assignment changed several times.
Responsiveness 5 out of 10. I understand that the time difference is 3 hours, but when I see that the message has been read and there is no response for half a day, it feels weak.
