Unfortunately, I had a very unpleasant experience working with the client, the worst in 5 years of freelancing. The primary task was to recreate an animated video with different locations and characters. After the project was approved but before payment, the client decided that he needed 10 videos in which the length of the first scene would be changed for different soundtracks, and although this happened after the conditions were approved, I agreed to accommodate the client. The work was not easy because the original video was drawn frame by frame, but I brilliantly replicated this animation in After Effects.
During the work, the task began to change and I started adding animation that was not in the original video. Also, at some point, the client said that he needed not 10 but 30 videos, meaning not just 30 renders but changing each version to a new duration. After completing the work, I sent the finished video for approval to the client to make 10 additional renders. The client did not respond for several days, in fact, did not write any messages at all, so I turned to arbitration because according to the service rules, the client has 3 days to check, in our case, it has been almost 7 days since the project was completed. As soon as the arbitration got involved in the dialogue, the client immediately appeared in the chat and wrote that he needed to wait for a response from a partner. The arbitration provided an additional 48 hours for this. Two days later, the client did not respond and did not write any messages again, which is why the administration closed the project. As soon as the project was closed, the client immediately started talking and began to write a lot of messages, demanding additional work that was not approved when the project conditions were accepted. And although I completed the entire scope (and even a little more) and provided all project files, the client still remained dissatisfied. I do not recommend this client.
