Who knows how to write a review.
Yesterday, I had a call with Vlad via screen sharing on discord.com, we communicated effectively, and he got answers to all his questions. I explained everything: exactly which UTM tail to use for Google Ads for each advertising campaign (I also outlined the basics, what each tag means, which tags are mandatory, and which tags are custom), what to write in the video ad, and where to view the ongoing statistics for Google Ads in GA4, how long to wait for the data on ad clicks to appear in the "static" reports of GA4. I advised him to remove the advertising UTM tags from the link in the video description on YouTube so that Google Analytics could adequately track clicks from different traffic sources, not just from ads.
Today, I additionally sent a screenshot of the settings for his video ad so that the client could see where to insert the link to the YouTube video and where to write the link to the website, so potential clients would first see the video clip and then go to the site bitsq.live.
I also warned him that Google Analytics and Google Ads can recognize internal traffic and will not show direct visits to the administrator's site as advertising traffic, so either a transition from a real video ad needs to be made (not from the ads.google.com account), or advertising traffic should be launched and the first real clicks awaited to see the data on advertising campaigns in the report on analytics.google.com the next day.
Yesterday, the client granted me access to analytics.google.com: I corrected errors in the general settings of analytics.google.com and emphasized to the client that the site's code has an old version of the Google Analytics Global Site Tag, which could cause problems, and that cross-domain tracking is set up between his site and another (which is absolutely unnecessary, as tracking transitions from bitsq.live to bitsq.com by clicking the "Start Trading" button can easily be done with 1 tag and 1 trigger in Google Tag Manager).
I warned the client that over time, there will be sanctions from Google Analytics and Google Ads in the form of restrictions on tracking functions and audience usage functions for ad personalization, because Vladislav's ad impressions are set for the USA and Europe, but there is no cookie consent banner set up on the bitsq.live site, and in GA4, cookie consent signals are also not set up according to Google's company rules.
I understood that the client does not want to listen to my experience with Google Ads video advertising and my experience working with GA4 and is again planning to write in the video ad (or in the video description - here he confused me) only the link to the YouTube video with incorrectly filled UTM tags concerning Google Ads ?utm_source=youtube&utm_medium=video_description&utm_campaign=default_campaign
Today, in the correspondence via discord.com, I received accusations from Vlad that the information from me is just "water," although the support of Freelancehunt will not lie - my correspondence with detailed explanations and screenshots is visible on Freelancehunt (which I also duplicated in the correspondence via discord.com).
