For now, prove that this is a financial expense, and it is more like a fraud, because, accordingly, you did not warn that you will work with another artist, and we warned about the loss of your developer who worked on the project, at least 2 days. Therefore I do not recommend this customer as, you will execute the project and the customer will find other executor and will tell about it to you.
