Alexander, 23 years old, FullStack Developer.

I initially started as a self-taught developer in Python and frontend development. After six months of practicing React and JavaScript, I enrolled in the STEP Academy FullStack Developer course. By the fourth month of studying (when we had just started JavaScript), I landed a job at a startup as a Junior Frontend Developer.

For the first couple of months, I was the only frontend developer and built the project from scratch under the guidance of a Senior Backend Developer who also acted as a team lead. The project used a modern stack (React, Vite, Telegram SDK, TonConnect, TypeScript, Tailwind, TanStack, and various UI libraries). Alongside development, I learned how to work with the backend, Sentry, Jira, and GitHub.

With the help of my team lead, I also started practicing backend development out of curiosity, eventually surpassing the academy curriculum (I can provide my STEP certificate if needed). I worked at this startup for a year, we developed the product up to MVP, and I left due to dissatisfaction with the schedule and salary.

After that, I joined another startup where Next.js was the core stack. There, I had to learn GraphQL and test writing, while also refactoring a legacy codebase (the project had been around for 3 years and had multiple junior frontend developers before me). On this project, I worked independently the entire time, with only one backend developer/founder alongside me.

At the end of 2025, I started taking freelance projects and continue doing so to this day. I have experience in niche areas such as blockchain/web3 development (both frontend and backend), building custom libraries (including one for multi-chain wallet connections), CI/CD, deployment, Telegram bots and mini-apps of any complexity, code optimization, and SEO.

Currently, I am developing two personal projects, one of which is a SaaS product (a cryptocurrency payment service similar to Stripe or WayForPay, but for crypto).
