Brand Identity Designer | Visual Systems

I help brands develop consistent and logical visual solutions. My work is focused on creating practical design systems that function seamlessly across all platforms—from digital interfaces to print materials.

How I work:

  • Analysis first: I study your business goals to ensure the design solves specific problems, rather than just looking good.
  • Systemic approach: I design logos, select typography, and create brand guidelines that are intuitive and easy for your team to use.
  • Technical precision: All assets are delivered in scalable formats (vector) with a high level of technical execution.

Core Services:

  • Logo Design & Brand Identity
  • Brand Guidelines & Style Guides
  • Presentation & Layout Design
  • Marketing Collateral

Tools: Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Figma, Adobe InDesign.

I am open to both long-term collaborations and one-off projects that require a structured approach. To examine my visual systems in practice, explore my portfolio: behance.net/hisaotaimu

  • Lumur

    Corporate Style
    Slow Coffee & Hygge Concept

In designing "Third Place" spaces, there is a fine line between creating coziness and slipping into infantilism. For the Danish coffee house Lumur, I faced the challenge of visualizing the concept of "slow living" while avoiding tropes of cuteness. Additionally, the client specifically requested a mascot within the logo.

The task: To create an identity that acts as a "sensory buffer" between work stress and domestic peace. The style needed to be mature, complex, yet intuitively clear, strictly adhering to the Danish Hygge aesthetic.

The Solution: Soft Geometry, I rejected rigid modular grids in favor of a "Soft Geometry" concept:

    · Form as Function: The visual language mimics the physical sensation of safety. We replaced rigid lines with fluid forms to literally smooth out the "sharp corners" of urban life.

    · Semiotics of the Symbol: The mascot (a cat) is not just a character, it is a semantic marker. A cat instinctively finds the safest and quietest spot in a room. The logo broadcasts this state of rest.

  • Hanny Blade

    Corporate Style
Development of a comprehensive brand identity for a European boutique specializing in premium artisan Japanese knives.

    The Business Challenge:
To engineer a visual system that successfully bridges authentic, traditional Japanese aesthetics with the high expectations of a premium European market. The identity needed to convey danger, precision, and elegance simultaneously, avoiding cliché "Asian-style" design tropes while establishing immediate market authority.

    Methodology & Solution:
The conceptual framework is built entirely on the deconstruction and synthesis of two contrasting cultural symbols:

Symbolic Duality: Integration of the Hannya mask (representing intensity, passion, and the inherent danger of the blade) with the Sakura blossom (symbolizing transience, renewal, and artistic grace). This dichotomy creates a compelling brand narrative.

Structural Geometry: The logo and supporting assets were developed using a rigorous, mathematically precise grid. This visual rhythm implicitly communicates the technical perfection and sharpness of the client's product.

Minimalist Execution: Stripping away superfluous elements to leave a clean, scalable, and highly adaptable visual language suitable for packaging, digital presence, and physical retail spaces.

    Deliverables:

    Core Concept & Symbolism Development
