The first chapter examines the theoretical foundations of the research: it reveals the concept of life meaning orientations, their structure and functions, and analyzes the influence of the sociocultural environment on the formation of life meanings. Special attention is given to the values of justice and care in the context of L. Kohlberg's theory of moral development, as well as the characteristics of the professional orientation of students from different faculties.
… The second chapter presents the research methodology: it describes the sample, the methods used (in particular, D.A. Leontiev's life meaning orientations test and a questionnaire for assessing moral values), as well as the analysis and statistical processing of the results. The comparison of the data allowed for the identification of differences in the dominant life orientations and moral priorities between students of psychology and law.
In the concluding part, general conclusions and practical recommendations are formulated, aimed at developing personal reflection and the value-motivational sphere of students.
