    Calm Green

    Interior Design
    Location: Kyiv, Ukraine
    Apartment area: 45 m²
    Designer: Oksana Lysiuk
    Visualization: Liliya Tiechko
    Year: 2024

The bathroom is not just a place for a ritual of cleanliness, it is a place for aesthetic detox. In this project, we worked with the concept of “calm through texture,” rather than through banal scented candles, although they are here too, of course — because Instagram won't understand it’s a bathroom without them.

The main material is expressive travertine-textured tile that envelops the space. It provides silence. It says: “You are home. You can finally not respond to messages.”

The floor and shower area are dramatic marble with deep veins. As if someone spilled an ink stain on alpine snow.

The sink and countertop are green stone with a deep moss hue, reminiscent of Scandinavian forests. Water flows there as silence meets thoughts: carefully, but relentlessly.

The glass partition with glass blocks is an airy boundary that blurs the lines between space and light. It doesn’t just let light in — it literally whispers “pass through” to it.

Textile — a deep green curtain, like a theatrical curtain between everyday life and a moment for oneself. It hides the laundry zone because true Zen should not see dirty socks.

Accents — stainless steel, wood, and green stone. They act as visual anchors in a calmly chaotic interior, maintaining a balance between “design” and “life.”

    Interior Design
    Location: Rivne, Ukraine
    Apartment area: 82.62 m²
    Interior designer: Oksana Lysyuk
    Visualization: Mariana Borshchun
    Year: 2023–2024
    Status: implemented

    - Everything is closed. Look — almost no doors are visible. Closets are hidden in the walls, handles are minimal.

    - The laundry room is disguised behind the closet facade — yes, the same charming closet-sticks again. Open it — and there is the laundry.

    - There is a niche with backlighting for accessories and decor.

    - A soft pouf to sit on when you put on shoes or to throw your bag on when you return home.

    - Light wood and light facades create a sense of space and warmth.

    - Entrance through a wardrobe. Yes, seriously. Hidden behind a wardrobe section, as if you're going on a quest. A secret base for socks.

    - Inside — washing machine, laundry basket, rail with hangers, and a bunch of boxes and baskets — for storing everything that "I'll put here for now."

    - Shelves above — for boxes, household chemicals, or old towels that are a pity to throw away but are never used.

    - Curtain covers all this chaos — once, and you have a "flawless wardrobe" again.

    - Wall and floor tiles — practical, look like a SPA, only with laundry detergent.

    - Under-shelf lighting — to see when the second sock gets lost again.

    - Bright and modern kitchen with natural colors — beige, white, gray.

    - Countertop and backsplash with a distinctive stone pattern — looks expensive and is stain-resistant.

    - Matte handleless cabinets — everything is hidden, looks tidy.

    - Rounded corners — safer, especially with children.

    - Built-in appliances — oven, stove, coffee machine, microwave.

    - Separate coffee area with shelves for cups and bottles — convenient and beautiful.

    - Sink by the window — lots of light, pleasant to wash dishes (well, almost).

    - Dining table for 4 people, wooden, with comfortable chairs.

    - Wall and under-cabinet lights — everything is well-lit, even if you’re preparing something more complex than a sandwich.

    Space description:

Living room — it is the aesthetics of restraint, subtly permeated with soft soffit and Scandinavian zen. No glaring colors. No old blankets. No "well, let it lie, it's a pity to throw away."

    Key accents:
    – Beige modular sofa, where you want to disappear for a few days
    – Wall lamp-sculpture that looks like a black bird trying to decide which way to shine
    – Painting on the floor — it is not hung because it is very busy being conceptual
    – Rug with coffee stain texture (probably the designer anticipated future "accidents")
    – Built-in TV zone with wooden framing that visually hides the equipment, not life
    – Perimeter ceiling lighting — because light should come from everywhere, not just from above, like love for modern interior

This living room is not just about functionality — it’s about creating calm without Scandinavian boredom.

    Space description:

This bedroom is proof that minimalism can be warm if it is done by someone with a sense of tact, not Pinterest. Visually, the interior is built on a beige-sand palette, with soft fabrics and natural wood textures.

    Main solutions:
    – Bed with a high soft headboard, into which you want to fall and not get up until Tuesday
    – Textiles matching the walls and floor, creating a "calm cocoon" effect
    – Podium bedside tables with built-in sockets — functional and stylish (and you can hide chargers so they don't bother)
    – Wall sconces with glass shades — a decorative accent without pretentiousness
    – Built-in wardrobe with restrained handles — maximum storage, minimal visual noise
    – Warm backlighting behind panels — a hint of hotel vibe, without excess

This bathroom is an aesthetic of calm and natural texture, where everything works towards the main goal: to make even morning awakening less offensive to the soul. Decorated in a beige-sand palette, it visually resembles a small SPA space, where you just want to be silent, breathe deeply, and not think about Zoom calls.

    Main solutions:
    – Textured handcrafted-style tiles in the shower area for tactile sensation
    – Natural rattan accents on cabinet facades — lightness and airiness
    – Built-in niches with backlighting — for functionality without chaos
    – Wall sconces with soft light on both sides of the mirror — perfect lighting without the "hospital" effect
    – Under-furniture lighting creates a light floating effect in the interior
    – Universal shower set and mixers with a satin finish — nothing extra, only elegance

This is a space where rituals become slowed down, and everyday life becomes a little less irritating.

This children's room is an example of smart, soft minimalism, where there is nothing superfluous but everything necessary for daily comfort and the child's development. The room was created for the family's younger son, and at the same time it does not look like a typical "kids' mix," but like a well-balanced environment for growth — in every sense.

    The room integrates:
    – a comfortable bed with a soft headboard
    – a thoughtful storage system with a rounded corner for safety
    – a desk by the window with natural lighting
    – stylish task lighting adapted to the child's needs
    – functional niches and cabinets — everything at hand
    – tactile materials, a calm palette, and easy navigation within the space

The emphasis is on concise forms and the rhythm of the wall, decorated with an abstract print covering — it develops imagination but does not impose images. This is a room that "grows with the child": it is sufficiently mature for a teenager but also cozy and friendly for a younger age.

In this room, books, toys, LEGO stormtrooper, and… a sense of calm already live.
And there’s an outlet where needed.

This bedroom is an example of deep restraint with an intellectual mood. The interior is created for a person who values coziness without excess, textures instead of decor, and a space that does not press but breathes.

The design is built on a balance of warm, calm materials: natural wood, concise textures, soft fabrics, and accents in dark metal. The built-in storage system is integrated into the room's geometry — from wall to ceiling, without visual overload.

The wall behind the bed is finished with an author's artistic art effect, which is combined with functional wall lighting. The workspace is part of the composition: a non-office but ergonomic zone for concentration.

Lighting is multi-level: spotlights, local scenarios, and decorative backlighting in niches. This allows changing the mood of the space — from everyday to atmospheric.

The bedroom has already been realized as part of the large RS_24 project. And the result fully matches the visualizations — the interior turned out to be as envisioned: clean, thoughtful, with character.

    Planning solution_0823

    Interior Design
    Service type: planning solution
    Location: Rivne, Ukraine
    Area: 55 m²
    Year: 2023
    Clients: married couple

    Description:

This project is an example of how even within a limited space and strict conditions, it is possible to create a functional, cozy, and personalized layout.

The clients are a couple who will live in the apartment together, as their adult children live separately.
    Main wishes for the layout:
    – bathtub, not a shower
    – full double bed
    – large fold-out sofa
    – spacious kitchen with enough storage space
    – dining table
    – wardrobe systems
    – relaxation area on the balcony

The property is located in a new building. A significant advantage was that there are non-residential premises under the apartment, which allowed moving the partitions of the bathroom and kitchen without violating regulations.

Considering the presence of a gas stove, it was necessary to separate the kitchen and living room. Two options were proposed:

    Visual integration of zones through sliding glass partitions (the kitchen and living room can function as one space for guests);

Kitchen-dining area as a separate zone, and the bedroom and living room as more private rooms.

Due to space constraints, it was not possible to implement a bedroom with access to the bed from both sides. In the proposed option, access is only provided from one side. The boundary between the living room and bedroom is a glass partition or blocks combined with a curtain, allowing flexible privacy adjustment.

The story ended with both options being so functional and well thought out that neither we nor the clients have yet decided which one is better.

    The project includes:

    Grey 1948

    Interior Design
    Type: residential interior
    Location: Vilnius, Lithuania
    Area: 81 sq.m.
    Status: completed

Grey 1948 — this is an interior where a muted palette serves as a background for light, textures, and silence.
The project was created for a client who values a balance between functionality, minimalism, and emotional impact of the space.

The concept was inspired by post-war modernism — simplicity of forms, rational zoning, minimal decor, and maximum sense of airiness. The palette is dominated by shades of gray: from graphite to ash, complemented by natural wood, metal, and muted textiles.

The project is implemented with a full set of drawings and 3D schemes.
    Includes:
    – room planning
    – lighting
    – electrical work
    – material and furniture selection
    – author supervision at all stages of implementation

Project feature: psychological depth of color. Gray in this interior is not about the absence of color, but about calm, space for thought, and refined silence.
