Sonia Kohan

I am seeking personal growth while helping others grow and succeed.

I have an educational background and experience in two fields: music and biology. I hold a Master’s degree in Music and am currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Botany and Plant Ecology.

I have worked as a violin, viola, and chamber music teacher. I am a member of several chamber ensembles, perform as both a violist and violinist, and collaborate with theatre and youth orchestras in Slovakia. I have extensive experience in concert performance, ensemble playing, and music education.

I am actively involved in academic and scientific activities. I have presented research in music performance, cultural studies, mycology, and ecology at international conferences. I have also delivered educational lectures for students and continuously develop my professional skills through courses, workshops, and masterclasses.

My strengths include analytical thinking, responsibility, the ability to work independently, and a strong passion for learning and languages. I am proficient in modern educational technologies, academic writing, the development of teaching materials, and the effective use of digital tools.
