E-COMMERCE PROJECT: ONLINE EDUCATION PLATFORM
Massive migration and complete reconstruction of the educational platform from Drupal 7 to Drupal 9. The project included comprehensive data migration using Migrate API and custom plugins, automation of the process through drush commands, and thorough validation and cleansing of data.
Implemented Drupal Commerce with configured price handlers, custom order types, and checkout processes. Migration from Rules to Business Rules was carried out with the implementation of complex workflows and event subscribers.
Custom solutions were developed: a booking system using custom entities and integration with Google Calendar, a reporting system with data aggregation and statistics, user management through the Groups module, and single sign-on (SSO).
To optimize performance, Redis caching, query optimization, integration with CDN, and database indexing for frequent queries were implemented. The result was a 40% improvement in performance, a 30% reduction in server load, and significant enhancements in user interface and maintainability.
